Lychee Black Tea

Lychee Black Tea

(rating: 4 out of 5)

Lychee Black Tea is made from Black Tea which has been scented with lychee peels. Lychee or lichee is a sweet tropical fruit that is popular in Asia. When preparing and drinking Lychee Black Tea, one is instantly amazed with its strong pleasantly sweet fruity aroma tea.

Price & Size :

Quantity :

Taste:
Sweet honey-like taste. It is commonly used by adding sugar or milk.

Appearance:
Dark brownish rolled tea leaves. Tea infusion has a reddish brown color.

Origin:
China

Brewing Guide:
We recommend using purple clay or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 225 ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and water temperature for subsequent brewing. If you like milk with your tea, add 10 to 15 ml of sweetened/plain dairy milk and stir.

nice aroma and excellent taste

I like balck teas and the lychee adds a sweet flavor all its own. You really dont need to add anything else to this tea to enjoy it. Good on its own.

When I opened this tea it smelled nice, but not overly of lychee. The tea is a bit lighter than in the picture as well. It seems (or smells) like this tea has been sitting around a while as the lychee scent is not very much. I know this because I bought some lychee black tea from another site and when I opened that one it smelled 10x stronger and the leaves while looking the same were much much darker. One advantage of tea cuppa though is you can buy a small amount, while I had to buy 500 grams for my other order....but that is ok as the price at another site was so much better. Still Teacuppa beats the local price for lychee black tea. I also have to add I am extremely dissapointed that TeaCuppa has not gotten back to me about my order after I have contacted them by email.

Very good taste and aroma. Reused leaves multiple times and still tastes great!
