Tung Ting Wu Yi Oolong Tea is a special tea and from the name it simply means it is harvested during the cold weather/winter. Not much wuyi teas are being harvested during this period of time. Tung Ting Wu Yi Oolong Tea is one of them. Generally, wuyi tea harvested during winter time are much cheaper that those harvest in April. At this price, this tea is really worth it. Tung Ting Wu Yi Oolong Tea is more heavy roasted compared to our normal rougui oolong. It is definately for someone who prefer more roasted charcoal wuyi tea.

Brewing Guide:
We recommend using purple clay or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Fill the teapot 2 - 5 grams (1-5 teaspoons) full with tea leaves for every 225ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 95°c (203°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.
