Smoked Lapsang Souchong Tea

Smoked Lapsang Souchong Tea originates from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, China. The Fukienese word "souchong" literally means "little variety" or subvariety. Smoked Lapsang Souchong Tea leaves have a special characteristics in that they have a subtle hint of a sweet fruit in China called "longan". Smoked Lapsang Souchong Tea is one of the very famous Chinese Black Tea. Our authentic Smoked Lapsang Souchong from Wuyi Mountain is organically grown.

Taste:
Smoky, earthy brew with a dominant scent and flavor of campfires.

Appearance:
Dark color twisted tea leaves. Clear amber red color infusion.

Wuyi Shan, Fujian Province

Brewing Guide:
We recommend using purple clay or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 225 ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and water temperature for subsequent brewing. If you like milk with your tea, add 10 to 15 ml of sweetened/plain dairy milk and stir.
